Glucose Goddess Debunk Part Two: Fear, Food Order Rituals, and Anti-Spike Snake Oil

Author: Freelee | thebananagirl.com

I watched Glucose Goddess’ Vogue France “how to avoid glucose spikes” segment and it proves the same thing again. Her philosophy is built on sugar fear, not human physiology.

The First Red Flag: “I’m Addicted to Coffee”

She admits she is completely addicted to coffee and cannot quit. If your breakfast method worked, you would not need burnout brew as a daily crutch. Dependence is not a wellness badge. It is a symptom of underfueling and overstimulation.

Dairy Flat Whites While Warning About Oats

She orders full fat dairy milk and claims oat milk is a glucose nightmare. That is backwards. Oats are carbohydrate. Dairy adds fat and hormones. High-fat eating promotes lipotoxicity, where fat accumulates in tissues and disrupts normal glucose handling. Then carbs get blamed for the mess.

The Food Order Myth and “Protective Mesh” Talk

She teaches veggies first, then protein and fats, then carbs at the end to “reduce the spike.” Real digestion is not a layered stack. Meals mix. Fiber matters, but the obsession with flattening spikes creates fear around the body’s normal fuel response.

The Real Product: Anti-Spike Capsules

This is the reveal. She promotes an anti-spike supplement containing mulberry leaf and claims it can prevent absorption of about 40% of glucose in a meal. That is induced malabsorption marketed as health. Create the fear, then sell the fix.

What Actually Matters: Lipotoxicity and Glucose Drag

Blood sugar rising after eating is normal. The issue is prolonged elevated glucose caused by fat and slowed digestion, what I call glucose drag. Less fat, cleaner meals, and fruit-forward fueling reduces that drag without gimmicks.

Raw Till 4 keeps it simple. Fruit during the day to refill the Sugar Tank, then a high-carb low-fat dinner. SHINE Diet principles keep meals fruit-forward, low-fat, and lower starch for easier digestion and steadier energy.
